OUR PLACE OVER THE WEEKEND

Nana and Pop live far away and recently they have been traveling with their caravan, last we had spoken they were exploring a place called Cameron's Corner, which is a place situated where the boardlines for NSW, SA and QLD all meet. This weekend they surprised us with a visit. I have always loved spending time with them, but since having children the time spent with them is even more beautiful as I watch them dote over their grandchildren with cuddles and kisses.

DAYDREAMING

A good friend of mine was in the car with my family and I, and my son expressed that he was bored about half an hour into a one and a half hour car trip. Her beautiful response really touched me and it has really freed the way in which I have been thinking lately. She said, 'What about day dreaming? Do you do that? You can think about what you want to do later today or maybe you can visualise the things that you want to happen tomorrow or in the future'.

Have you daydreamed lately?

AFTERNOON DELIGHTS

The sunshine was cool by the time we came home from school today and we feasted on some summery fruits that we bought over the weekend. He read out his home reader as I set out the table and before I managed to bring the second cup of tea over, he was already sneaking into the cherries.

SUNDAY: MY PHOTOGRAPHIC FOOD DIARY

After eating a burnt pancake for breakfast this morning, I decided to go a bit silly at the bakery. I stocked up on enough for lunch and afternoon tea, which was accompanied by a  few cups of fresh hot Honey and Calamansi Tea. Perfect food for the cold front which has left everyone in my home shivering since Friday night.
